MOI Fee Structure

Product/Market Evaluation: $750
With the information from the completed idea questionnaire provided by the client, MOI does a market, product, and patent evaluation of your submitted idea/invention to determine commercial viability and potential for successful licensing, sale, or other commercial outcome. A comprehensive report is then provided to you with a recommendation to move forward or other guidance.

License Effort: Contingent Fee
MOI DOES NOT CHARGE the client for its efforts to license a client’s idea/invention. Instead we negotiate with the client for a percentage of the license and royalty or sale proceeds. The range is 10-40% depending upon the resources that MOI anticipates expending for its efforts. In those instances in which MOI assumes some or all of the expense for patent prosecution and prototype development, the percentage will be in the 25-40% range.
